AltaPro Electric is proud to highlight our integral role in the modernization of the Canada Games Aquatic Centre (CGAC) in Kamloops, British Columbia. This project, marked as British Columbia’s first Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) project, allowed us to demonstrate our expertise in advanced electrical engineering solutions within a collaborative construction framework.
Our team was responsible for a comprehensive overhaul of the facility's electrical systems, which included the installation of cutting-edge LED lighting and a state-of-the-art electronic scoreboard. These enhancements not only elevate the functionality of the aquatic centre but also contribute to the facility’s overall modernization and operational efficiency.
In addition to electrical upgrades, our involvement extended to ensuring that the new installations supported the centre’s increased accessibility. This includes lighting systems that enhance visibility and safety for all users, supporting the facility’s aim to be an inclusive community hub.
The use of the IPD model facilitated a seamless integration of our services with the goals of other project teams, emphasizing problem-solving and innovation without the traditional constraints of project delivery methods. Our work at CGAC exemplifies our ability to adapt and excel in a highly collaborative environment.
Completing the project within budget and schedule, AltaPro Electric has helped transform the Canada Games Aquatic Centre into a modern, efficient, and community-focused facility.
